First Episode: Sweet Halo-Halo

Halo-Halo is a sweet dessert that you can usually find at local restaurants and food corners here in the Philippines. It's a mix of crushed ice, sago, gulaman, kidney beans, sugar palm fruit, sweet potato, crushed young rice, purple yam, leche flan and evaporated milk. On top of that variety of delicious ingredients, there's the "ube ice cream".

Since this is my first post here in "A Brimful of Purple", I just wanted to share some of the reasons why Halo-Halo is one of my most favorite sweet desserts on Earth.

No.1 - It's very refreshing!
No.2 - It's super yummy.
No.3 - I love the mix of leche flan, evaporated milk and ube ice cream.
No.4 - It's very affordable and would only cost me two dollars.
No.5 - It can be paired with any food like spaghetti, burger or pizza.

So that's it! If ever you want to eat some Halo-Halo, you can make one or simply order one at your nearest restaurant.
